Focus

The Life Centre of Hamilton was established with one focus.  The passionate pursuit of the presence of God.

That focus is the foundation of everything we do.  We have deconstructed the typical ‘church’ model to look at the intent and purpose of all that we do.  We have discarded ‘religious’ structure and mindsets in order to more fully pursue God’s presence.  We know that God’s presence is not just a ‘church’ thing either.  His presence brings life and works through us in real life situations.  He is always with us,  and we can connect with His presence at any time, in any situation.  Matthew 28:20 says:  “I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”  And we find that to be entirely true.

Praise

We have changed the way we praise and worship God.  We are not locked into a ‘set’ of songs or hymns, but, rather, we sing and worship until His presence stirs our hearts.  We believe that God inhabits, and is enthroned in, our praise and worship.  We were made to worship Him, so we do so with our whole being.  We sing, dance, and lift up the Name of Jesus with our voices.  Our worship before the Lord is joyful and exciting.

“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise.  Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.  For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.”

Prayer

We believe in the power of prayer and that God honours His word as we use it while we pray.  Prayer changes things, so we continually pray for Hamilton and its leaders, the Southern Grampians Shire, and every family that resides there.  Through prayer, we know that God will faithfully try to connect with you and draw both you and your family into relationship with Him.  Our desire is that you will one day encounter His presence like we have; that you will come to know Him as Father.

Family

When you make Jesus Lord of your life, you become part of something amazing!  It’s like being born into a new family.  God the Father draws us together as brothers and sisters.  So the church takes on a new dynamic as a diverse family.  As a family, we work together to minister to every age and situation.  We develop into a close knit group of friends who share with each other and celebrate the goodness of God.  We come together to learn and grow, sometimes at home, and at other times away on retreats or at conferences.

Our youth and children are ministered to on a level that touches them right where they are.  We incorporate life lessons from the bible into fun and exciting events for every age.  Like families, everyone is involved from the smallest to the oldest.

Adventure

Following Jesus is an exciting adventure!  As we say yes, He opens the doors for us to serve Him here locally and abroad in countries around the world.
